Ms. Lisa Green has 22 years of educational experience of which she has served students with Gwinnett County Public Schools. Ms. Green is a native of Pontiac, Michigan. She graduated with honors from Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. She received her Master of Arts Degree in Education from University of Georgia and her Specialist in Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. She has received her Leadership Endorsement from Georgia State University. Recently, Ms. Green obtained her Instructional Coaching Endorsement from Griffin RESA.
Serving as an Assistant Principal with Gwinnett County Public Schools for 12 years. Ms. Green has experience in Elementary and Middle School settings. As an instructional leader she has lead curriculum teams of teachers to demonstrate their expertise in teaching and learning of diverse learners. Consequently, her diverse experiences combined with her knowledge of curriculum and instruction have led her to grow as a leader and thus lead a school community at Rock Chapel Elementary School. Ms. Green leads with passion and dedication. As she enthusiastically accepts this opportunity to advance this school, it is her personal and professional pledge to model, inspire, challenge, support, and encourage every member of the school’s family to have a laser focus on student achievement & growth. To create a network of community resources that will assist her in the work of leading Rock Chapel Elementary School to world-class status. Armed with passion and purpose, She is motivated to lead this school-based community and engage all stakeholders with ensuring all students are successful as they strategically and urgently focus on Continuous School Improvement.
